I had a email from a perspective client earlier in the year. Inspired by work they had seen in various restaurants in London, and then laterly by my work at the Cotswold Company, they had this vision of creating a nature inspired twiggy installation in their home.

When we spoke on the phone they were less interested in flowers and more interested in bringing in a sense of wild into their home through the use of branches, vines and seedheads. They are a dream client! If you’ve been following my work for a while you’ll know that whilst I love the flowers, the heart of my designs lines in the textural pieces that support them. What I also loved about this brief was knowing that I would have to worry less about any flowers fading and could be sure of its longevity through the use of seedheads such as honesty.

More and more work like this seems to be coming my way and it got me thinking a little about biophilic design and how I can potentially position my business within this area.
